Invasive Species

I spent a couple hours a couple of Saturdays ago pulling invasive Garlic Mustard and Asiatic Bush Honeysuckle from our property. It is Certified Habitat with National Wildlife Federation so we are trying to be good stewards of these three acres.

I was really frustrated when I saw the garlic mustard last year. I do try to keep on top of it hoping to eradicate it from the property – Three big lawn bags full of garlic mustard.

I wish the celebrity chefs would make this a new fad. Maybe more people would be out hunting and eating this!
